Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), also referred to as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is a lifelong neurodevelopmental condition that can affect social interaction, communication, sensory processing, and rigid patterns of thinking or behaviour.
While these issues are usually identified in childhood, many individuals use masking behaviour which further intensifies issues with mental health, leading to demands with professional, academic and personal-social life. Differences can also become more apparent when becoming parents and/or if their child is diagnosed with Autism.

Psych2Gether offers a joint assessment from a Consultant Psychiatrist and Expert Clinical Psychologist, following NICE clinical guidelines. Conducted over 3 sessions:
Session 1 — Consultant Psychiatrist (1 Hour): Reviews medical and psychiatric history, current challenges, social functioning, and pre-assessment questionnaires. Checks if symptoms might be explained by other conditions (e.g., ADHD, anxiety).
Session 2 — Clinical Psychologist (1 Hour): Detailed assessment of autistic traits using the ACIA (Autism Clinical Interview for Adults) to understand lifelong patterns in social skills, communication, routines, and behaviour.
Session 3 — MDT Discussion & Feedback (30 minutes): The psychiatrist and psychologist review all questionnaires and interviews, agree on findings, and give clear feedback with treatment/support options if diagnosed.
You will receive a confidential diagnostic report within two weeks, with a copy sent to your GP. It will include all assessment details, pre-assessment questionnaire results and outcomes, plus information on treatment options offered by Psych2Gether.
